About me

My name is Lorna Griggs, and I am a homeschooling pastor's wife in West Texas. My husband, Walt, and I have three surviving children, one of whom was born after Talitha's death. I'm not really a blogger and prefer to do most of my writing via Facebook status updates, but some recent events have helped me to decide that I need to be more active in doing my part to help people understand that carrying a fatally ill child to term is an option. In fact, it can be an enormous blessing! While I would never wish a diagnosis of anencephaly on my worst enemy, Talitha's brief life was also a wonderful blessing to me, and it was a privilege and an honor to be her mother. If this blog helps even one mother build up the courage to carry to term, or if it helps even one person with their grief, then it's done what I've set out for it to do.
